Welcome to Casa de Tillie, a charming bed and breakfast where you can bask in the breathtaking vistas of historic Guanajuato and the majestic mountains that embrace it. Our family-run establishment offers a modern home adorned with tasteful touches of traditional Mexican decor, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere. You'll find three generously sized guest rooms furnished with comfortable queen or king size beds, providing a cozy retreat. Begin your day with a delightful Mexican breakfast that will energize you for a day of exploring Guanajuato's captivating attractions. As evening approaches, retreat to Casa de Tillie and relax while watching the picturesque sunset over our beloved city in our heated saltwater pool and jacuzzi, a perfect spot to unwind and appreciate the beauty surrounding Guanajuato.
About Us
Rene is a Guanajuato native and Flo grew up in Poughkeepsie, NY. We met in 2009 when Flo was studying Spanish in Guanajuato and we had an instant connection. After a year of visiting each other and communicating online, Rene chose to move to New York City to see what might happen. In 2011 we got married and in 2015 Tillie was born. After living in Brooklyn for 8 years we decided to move our little family to Guanajuato and explore our dream of opening up a bed and breakfast. We absolutely love Guanajuato and we can't wait to share this charming colonial city with you.
